Southport Raw Bar 35th Anniversary Party! The Live Bands Were Great! Special thanks to 'The Street People' and to 'The Billy Scherer Band' for providing the sounds of the blues and rock-n-roll for the party! The bands alternated their visits to the stage throughout the day and well into the night taking turns playing a mix of original and a great variety of cover tunes! The stage was set on the deck of the tow boat backed right up to the dock! Very cool! Party on the Patio The party was Oct 7th, starting at 1:00pm, and the crowds began to pack the patio right away. Within just a couple of hours it was standing room only for the rest of the day into the night. Big Mike's BBQ was the specialty of the day, provided by none other than Big Mike himself! There was face painting and games for the kids as well as a charity auction. Party patrons enjoyed the fabulous fare of the Raw Bar as every available employee was on shift and worked hard to make the 35th Anniversary Party a truly great event! Let's do it again!
